Kris Batchelder Paralegal

Kris joined The Spence Law Firm team in 2020, upon returning to Jackson Hole after 10 years spread between Boulder, Colorado, and Palo Alto, California. She now serves as a paralegal for Bryan Ulmer.

Having been reared overseas until she was 5 years old, and continued to explore and immerse herself in a myriad of colorful cultures as an adult, Kris considers herself a citizen of the world and for the people, and is passionate about doing what she can to improve the plight of those in need. Throughout her diverse career background; from hi-tech, to real estate, to serving on the board for the Safehouse Progressive for Nonviolence, she has honed skills in client advocacy and facilitation, and is honored for the opportunity to direct her abilities and energy to support the process of justice as part of The Spence Law Firm's dedicated team.

The pride and joy of Kris's life is her teenage son. In her free time, she can be found spending quality time with him and their pooch, as well as getting after the greater outdoors; hiking, snow riding, and in pretty much any capacity that offers fresh air and nature's beauty and humility. Kris also enjoys exploring her creativity as a paper collage artist.

Kris obtained her Paralegal Certification Course certificate through the Metropolitan State University of Denver.
