Michelle Gress was born in Northern California and raised between two states – California and Idaho. She earned an Associate's Degree in criminal justice from Boise State University.

Michelle began her legal career at age 16 in California, working in a personal injury, workers' compensation, and family law office. She worked for the public defender in Nampa, Idaho from 1995 to 1999 and continued her career in civil litigation working in construction and environment for 10 years.

In 2010, Michelle returned to personal injury where she loves being able to help people and guide them through the often confusing process of the legal field.

Michelle moved to Jackson, Wyoming in 2016 and started with The Spence Law Firm as a paralegal for M. Kristeen Hand. She has two grown daughters and five wonderful grandchildren. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys being outside with her husband. She spends her free time riding a Harley, ATVs, and enjoys traveling. She and her husband are huge fans of all sports, especially basketball and football.
