Lawsuit Filed After Botched Spinal Injections Debilitate Patient

Jan 26, 2011

R. Daniel Fleck, The Spence Law Firm, LLC, and Jeremy Michaels, of Michaels & Michaels law firm in Gillette, Wyoming, have filed a lawsuit on behalf of a Wyoming resident, who was seriously injured by a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital during the botched placement of a spinal anesthetic. Due to the negligent needle placement the Plaintiff suffered severe and permanent injuries. After nearly two years of chronic pain our client was forced to have a neurostimulator implanted in her spine.

Mr. Fleck has extensive experience litigating medical malpractice and birth-injury and birth trauma related cases, including hypoxic-ischemic birth injuries, Erb's Palsy and shoulder dystocia birth trauma, and other complex labor and delivery related injury and death cases, both in Wyoming and across the country.

This lawsuit was filed against Campbell County Memorial Hospital, CRNA Amanda Phillips, Northern Plains Anesthesia Associates, P.C., and Michael Crosby, M.D. The complaint was filed in Campbell County and a jury trial has been demanded.
