Wyoming Oil Field Explosion Injures 4

Breaking News: Reports out of La Barge, Wyoming Tuesday suggest that 4 oifield workers were injured Tuesday after a natural gas storage tank exploded south of La Barge. The blast apparently occurred at an EOG Resources Inc. storage tank at 1:56 p.m. on the La Barge Highway, said Stephen Malik, a public information officer for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department. The tank appeared to be undergoing cleaning when the explosion took place.Investigators have indicated that three men were sent to the hospital as a result. Three men were transported to a hospital in Salt Lake City, she said. The fourth man was treated and released from a local outpatient facility.
