On Wednesday May 14th, three men were killed when a Powder River Transportation bus carrying at least a dozen coal-miners crashed into a line of vehicles stopped in a construction zone on State Highway 59 approximately ten miles south of Gillette. The collision resulted in an eight-vehicle pileup. The three victims, who were in at least two separate vehicles, were identified as Colin Schultz, 37, Christopher Joubert, 40, and Charles Errington, 55. The Spence Law Firm is investigating the causes of this tragic event.
