Mark Aronowitz to Lead WTLA for 2026–2027 Term

The Spence Law Firm and Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association (WTLA) proudly announce the election of Mark Aronowitz as President for the 2026–2027 term. Aronowitz, a Jackson-based attorney, will lead the state’s largest voluntary association of trial lawyers. His practice focuses on wrongful death, personal injury, and workplace injuries including workers’ compensation. Throughout his career, he has been a dedicated advocate for Wyoming workers, families, and individuals seeking justice.

Originally from New York, Mark moved to Wyoming in 2000 and quickly fell in love with the state. He attended law school at Lewis & Clark in Portland, Oregon from 2002–2005 and promptly returned to Wyoming immediately after graduation to begin his legal career. After more than two decades of practicing law and serving WTLA in numerous leadership roles, including several years as Chairman of the Legislative Committee, Mark has now been elected President.

During his time with WTLA, Mark has played a key role in the Association’s legislative advocacy efforts, has contributed extensively to The Coffee House, and has organized and presented at numerous continuing legal education (CLE) programs. Most recently, Mark served as Convention Chairman for the recently concluded 2026 WTLA convention and had the honor of introducing Governor Mark Gordon as the opening speaker – a memorable moment shared with both the membership and his children.

In addition to his work with WTLA, Mark serves on the Board of the Teton Raptor Center and is a guest lecturer at the Teton Science Schools.

Now, more than ever, we need to make every effort to ensure that the rights of all, especially the weakest, are recognized, defended and championed. I am optimistic that 2026–2027 will be a great year for WTLA.”
