Mel Orchard Honored by Wyoming State Bar

The Wyoming State Bar recently announced that Spence Law Firm partner Mel Orchard is a recipient of a Leadership Award. By press release, past state bar president Joseph B. Bluemel noted that "Leadership Awards are an important recognition of our members' commitment to the communities in which they live and practice to better their respective communities and improve the quality of life for those who live there."

Mel Orchard is a Wyoming native. He grew up in Evanston, Wyoming before attending Washington State University, and then the University of Wyoming College of Law. Mel became a partner with The Spence Law Firm in 2003. Mel has always taken an active role in his community. During his years in Jackson, Mel has served as president of the Board of Directors for the Teton County Habitat for Humanity and he has served for years on the board for the Community Children's Project. Mel Orchard also continues to spend countless hours volunteering as a coach for youth sports teams in Teton County and for Upward Basketball through his church. Read more about Mel Orchard.
