Super Lawyers is a research driven rating service recognizing attorneys who have attained a high
degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. No more than 5% of attorneys in the
Mountain States region are selected to the Super Lawyers list. The Top 100 list is created by
selecting the 100 attorneys who receive the highest point totals during the Super Lawyers
Selection Process for the five-state Mountain States region. The Rising Stars list recognizes no
more than 2.5% of attorneys in the five-state Mountain States region and is limited to lawyers
who are 40 or younger or have practiced for 10 years or less.
Attorneys are selected from more than 70 practice areas and firms of all sizes through a patented
multiphase methodology that combines peer nominations, independent research evaluations, and
peer reviews. The resulting lists serve as a resource for referring attorneys and consumers
seeking legal counsel.
