Coal Miner Says She Was Intentionally Hurt
A Gillette woman who claims a co-worker used a crane to violently shake
her haul truck is suing Rio Tinto Energy America for an unspecified amount
in damages. Lana Tegeler was seriously hurt in October 2008 while hauling
large loads of coal from a mining pit at Cordero-Rojo mine. A lawsuit
was filed earlier this month and Tegeler is being represented by Grant
Lawson of the Spence Law Firm in Jackson.
