Priest Runs Stop Sign, Paralyzes Oncoming Driver: Confidential Settlement
We successfully settled a case brought against the Catholic Diocese of
Cheyenne and other Catholic corporations for the negligent operation of
a vehicle by a priest in Wyoming. The priest, who belonged to a Catholic
Order and was counseling teens at two youth ranches in Wyoming at the
permission of the Wyoming Bishop, was driving to Mass when he ran a stop
sign and t-boned a pick-up truck driven by a 41 year old wife and mother.
She was rendered a quadriplegic in the crash. We settled for a confidential amount.
